Draeinail delivered new drainage infrastructure for the Kingston subdivision, set against the scenic backdrop of the Queenstown region.

Works included installing 1,500 diameter pipes, 3-metre diameter manholes and HDPE pre-channelled manholes, with large crane lifts required to position the drainage components. Ground conditions required the installation of ground stabilising rafts.

High groundwater levels presented a significant challenge, requiring large pumps to operate around the clock to remove water from the site. The project also involved trenches up to 4.5 metres deep and extensive backfilling as installation progressed.
